Modification or cancellation for reservations must be sent to sales@tabacon.com. In case of modifications please notice that the rate we will apply is subject to the published rate for your new traveling dates.
Reservation Policies
- By confirming the reservation process, you authorize Tabacón Grand Spa Thermal Resort to charge the total amount of your reservation on your credit card.
- If any inconvenient occurs with the credit card transaction throughout the reservation process, it is not possible to continue with the reservation. If it's the case you should enter a new card in order to get the confirmation.
- Cancellations & modifications must be sent in writing, they cannot be processed through the website or over the telephone.
- All rates include 13% tax.
- Participation in our traditional and very special New Years Gala Dinner is a requisite for all guests staying with us on New Year's Eve. The cost of this event will be applied to the same credit card used for your room booking, please advise if you want to use a different card for this service. We offer you two options:
- According to the Law 9028 Smoke Free Environment of Costa Rica effective March 2012; smoking in all public places be it indoors or outdoors is strictly prohibited. This legislation includes any and all areas of the Resort Property such as: all hotel & resort areas, guest rooms, restaurants, bars, lobby, pool areas, The Grand Spa, walk ways, gardens and green areas.
- It is a requirement to present a passport, identity card or residency card of each guest at the check in time, check in process cannot be made without this document. (Driver license is not permitted).
- New Years Dance Dinner at Ave Del Paraiso Restaurant (Buffet):
Schedule: From 8:00pm until 2:00 am (estimate time).
Location: Thermal Springs Resort at just 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel, complementary transportation service available.
Dress code: Casual.
- New Years Gala Dinner at Los Tucanes Restaurant (A la carte):
Schedule: From 7:00pm until 12:00am (estimate time).
Location: Hotel grounds.
Dress code: Casual-Formal.
Please be aware that special reservation policies are applicable for packages, please check each package for your reference.
Cancellation Policies
- Anticipated departures will be charged in full.
- Cancellations must be sent in writing.
- Any cancellation made at least 21 days prior to arrival will incur a US$30.00 administrative fee per room.
- Any cancellation made less than 21 days prior to arrival will incur a 100% forfeiture of the first night deposit per room.
- Cancellation of reservations for Easter Week (March 29th to April 08th, 2012), Christmas or New Year's (December 20th 2012 to January 02nd 2013) made less than 90 days prior to arrival will incur a 100% penalty.
- NO SHOWS will be charged as follows:
For 2 or 3 nights stays: 1 night penalty per room.
For over 4 nights stays: 2 nights penalty per room.
