Terms and Conditions

  • Check In Time: 3:00 pm
  • Check Out Time: 12 Noon / Extra charge for Late Check Out.
  • All our guest rooms and suites are non-smoking.
  • All reservations require a minimum of 2 nights stay.

Reservation Policies
  • By confirming the reservation process, you authorize Tabacon Grand Spa Thermal Resort to charge the total amount of your reservation on your credit card.
  • Cancellations or modifications must be sent in writing to sales@tabacon.com, they cannot be processed through the website or over the telephone. In case of modifications, please note that the rate will be subject to the published rates for the new traveling dates.
  • All rates include 13% tax.
  • According to the Law 9028 Smoke Free Environment of Costa Rica effective March 2012; smoking in all public places be it indoors or outdoors is strictly prohibited. This legislation includes the hotel, resort and spa area.
  • Tabacon Grand Spa Thermal resort does not contact our clients using email accounts other than our domain name@tabacon.com, nor do we ask for advance payments or reservations made through a third party's bank accounts.
  • It is a requirement to present a passport, identity card or residency card of each guest at the check in time, check in process cannot be made without this document. (Driver license is not permitted).
  • Participation in our traditional and very special New Year's Gala Dinner is a requisite for all guests staying with us on New Year's Eve. The cost of this event will be applied to the same credit card used for your room booking, please let us know if you want to use a different card for this service.

Reservation Policies for packages
  • Please be aware that special reservation policies are applicable for packages, please check each package for your reference.

Cancellation Policies
  • Anticipated departures will be charged in full.
  • Cancellations must be sent in writing to sales@tabacon.com.
  • Any cancellation made at least 22 days or more prior to arrival will incur a US$30.00 administrative fee per room.
  • Any cancellation made less than 21 days prior to arrival will incur a 100% forfeiture of the first night deposit per room.
  • Cancellation of reservations for Easter Week, Christmas or New Year's made less than 90 days prior to arrival will incur a 100% penalty.
  • NO SHOWS will be charged as follows:
    • For 2 or 3 nights stays: 1 night penalty per room.
    • For over 4 nights stays: 2 nights penalty per room.

Children Policies
  • Children from 0 to 5 years old, free of charge sharing the room with two adults.
  • Children from 6 to 11 years old, pay the children rate sharing the room with two adults.
  • 12 years old and up, they pay regular adult fee.
